Defensive Driving Course – Bus Drivers (PS – BDDC)
Professional bus drivers are involved in fewer collisions than other motorists, but collisions involving buses are far more deadly and costly. This two-day course (1 day theory and 1 day practical) develops the personal and professional excellence and moral responsibility of professional bus drivers regarding the consequences of their driving decisions. It provides knowledge of key defensive driving techniques and safe maneuvers to avoid collisions and violations as well as the ability to recognize the need for defensive driving skills to prevent fatalities, injuries, property damage & safety of their passengers.
By the end of this course professional bus drivers will be able to recognize the most common causes of bus-related collisions and how to avoid them, understand the importance of vehicle’s maintenance and inspection
